How can I resign from Soundreef and how long does it take?

You can resign from your account with one click, and the resignation will be effective from January 1.

Just go to My Account and click Terminate Membership from your Soundreef account. We'll send you a message shortly after confirming processes and deadlines.

Your resignation request will be then registered, but we'll continue to collect your royalties until the end of the year, and as of January 1, you can sign up with another collecting society.

The only favor we ask of you, is that you send us your request no later than October 31. After that, we'll not be able to honor your request until December 31 of the current year.

This is because we protect your rights around the world, also through agreements with international collecting societies that have semi-annual or annual filing deadlines for some classes of rights.
